I was fortunate enough to be allowed to interview the maitre’ d of the Lawn Club Grill, Jordan Bernstein, this morning in Cellar Masters. That interview will be up at a later date so don't forget to come back to read it. Anna and I wandered off to the Oceanview Café to fight the breakfast crowds before heading off to Phillipsburg. This was Anna’s first time here and since we were only interested in a really relaxing cruise with nothing more than sun, beach, and sand, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. You might have read previously on my blog that I enjoy sitting in Taloula Mango’s and having a drink or two and that is exactly what we both agreed our day here would be like.
There is nothing better than this super buoyant salt water that is so blue and warm.
When it started to sprinkle around 2:30 pm, we wandered off inside Taloula Mango’s and the Blue Bitch Bar to the second floor and grabbed a seat overlooking the beach. We both ordered a drink as well as a shot (the “Bitch Slap” for some reason seemed appropriate) and sat back to relax and enjoy the rest of our afternoon.
